SHIVARATRI is auspicious for everyone. Is thirteenth night and fourteenth day after full moon on Magha or Phalguna month, when the moon is waning. This festival is related to the end of the moon. This is the reason why is called Shivaratri, the night of Shiva, or Mahashivaratri, the great Shiva night.

Other nights are just nights, but this night is particularly the night of Shiva, celebration night, dedication night, enlightenment night. Mahashivaratri Shiva festival reminds us of the Shiva Sutra philosophy.

During Mahashivaratri are sung mantras and pujas are performed, dedicated to Shiva for hours. Is a celebration in a devotion atmosphere with the beautiful sounds of live music (Samgita Yoga).

Shiva Festival is an ancestral feast that was taken by Persian, Greeks and Romans and became carnival. Carnival is originary dedicated to Shiva.
